Job Description

An SAP HCM and SuccessFactors (SF) Consultant is a multifaceted IT professional with expertise in both SAP’s on-premise Human Capital Management (HCM) solution and its cloud-based successor, SAP SuccessFactors (SF). They bridge the gap between traditional HR processes and the modern cloud environment, helping businesses optimize their HR functions through implementation, configuration, and ongoing support of both SAP HCM and SF.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their HR requirements, challenges, and desired future state.
  • Analyze existing HR processes and identify opportunities for improvement through SAP HCM or SF implementation.
  • Design, configure, and customize either SAP HCM or SF modules (e.g., Employee Central, Payroll, Talent Management , Recruiting, Performance Management, Compensation, and Succession Management) to meet client needs.
  • Manage data migration from legacy systems to SAP HCM or SF, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain master data in both systems, including employee information, organizational structures, and compensation & benefits data.
  • Configure the SAP SuccessFactors PMGM module to meet client requirements
  • Integrate SAP HCM or SF with other relevant SAP modules (e.g., Finance) or external systems.
  • Configure workflows and user interfaces within SAP HCM or SF to optimize user experience and self-service capabilities.
  • Conduct system testing and ensure smooth system operation during implementation or migration.
  • Provide comprehensive training and support to end-users on functionalities of the chosen system (SAP HCM or SF).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SAP SuccessFactors PMGM issues

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in SAP HCM or SF (PMGM ) configuration and implementation (4+ years)
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices (e.g., recruitment, payroll, performance management)
  • Ability to assess the suitability of SAP HCM or SF for client requirements.
  • Strong understanding of SAP SuccessFactors PMGM functionality
  • Experience with data migration methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Certification in at least one SAP HCM or SF module is a plus.
  • Experience with specific HR functionalities like compensation & benefits or talent management is valuable.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based deployment methodologies (e.g., Agile, DevOps) is increasingly desirable for SF implementations.
  • Understanding of industry-specific HR practices can be a significant advantage.
