Microsoft Azure Services was first introduced in 2008, but became commercially available in 2010. Azure app services demand has increased in recent years, and as of now, approximately 90% of Fortune 500 companies use Microsoft Azure Services. As a cloud service provider, Azure offers everything from creating project repositories to managing code, tasks, deploying, and maintaining services.
Azure offers support in over 40+ regions and over 600 different services, making it a market leader. Here, I’d like to mention the top ten most popular services in 2022, along with a brief description of each.
1. Azure DevOps
Among all the services, Azure DevOps is the most well-known. It is the most dependable and intelligent tool for managing projects, testing, and deploying code via CI/CD. For the time being, Azure DevOps is a complete package of Azure Services such as Azure Repos, Azure Pipelines, Azure Boards, Azure Test Plans, and Azure Artifacts.
2. Azure Virtual Machines
A virtual machine is nothing more than a computer-like environment. Microsoft offers the ability to create VMs with Windows and Linux operating systems based on your needs.
